Canon Guidelines
- Only materials on the simm are considered canon. This simm does not do Alternate Universes, nor does it consider canon for IP’s that are known. That means events in Star Trek, Star Wars, or even Harry Potter do not count as canonical on this simm.
Joining & Acceptance
- Stelvik Station only accepts new writers to the group on a case-by-case basis. Applications are always welcome, however, the Game Manager has final say.
- The application form, provided on a different page, should be filled out in full. Proper grammar and spelling are not a requirement, however, be as close to accurate as possible. English as a second language is taken into consideration.
- The decision is final. If the applicant is rejected a reason and explanation will be provided. Do not harass the Game Manager if you are rejected.
Simm Rating
- This is a 15+ Age Rated Simm
- Language – 2
- Swearing with limitations is permitted
- Limitations – Heavy swearing, overly sexual commentary
- Sexual Content – 2
- Sexual Content is okay, fade to black situations is okay with limitations
- Limitations – Explicit sexual is okay to some degree. Straight up smut is not okay.
- Violence – 1
- Mild Violence is permitted with limitations
- Limitations – Extreme violence and explicit violence
Activity
- Activity is considered for members who are actively participating in collaborative posts. There are no monthly post minimums, just be active with writing the collaborative posts
- If you are going to be absent for any length of time simply notify the Game Manager of your absence.
Character Guidelines
- The in-game universe has one, and only one, intelligent lifeform. That is the Human race. We do not accept home brewed races, we do not accept races from known Sci-Fi franchises.
- Under no circumstances should your character be from any franchise in any genre. That includes all known IP’s that includes canon and non-canon characters from those franchises. You will be automatically rejected.
- Members and potential members are asked to make their character unique with flaws, strengths, and weaknesses. While avoiding Mary Sue and Rambo like characters.
System Mechanics
- There are several system mechanics in place for this simm. They exist as an in-character guideline, however, that does not mean they can be openly broken.
- Players, and applicants, should not write a war between two factions simply because. Players, and applicants, do not automatically have millions of credits.
- Unrealistic events will have consequences. Trying to break the simm mechanics may result in a minor in-character consequence. More serious offenses like writing your character starting a coup will result in simm removal.
Rules of Behavior
- This simm and members do not tolerate harassment, bullying, trolling, etc. of any kind. If it happens OOC the member will be investigated and removed.
- Potential members who have a past history of these things will automatically not be accepted.
- Potential members who have a bad history with simm leadership are also automatically not accepted. There is no public list of people who are not welcome, however, if one of them should apply they will be rejected immediately.
