Blake Preston was born SY 53 to Daniel and Edith. When Blake was only ten years old his father Daniel passed away and it was something Blake struggled with for a long time. Eventually in SY 60, when he was seven years old he met Sebastian Hayes and became rather close to him.
Blake wasn’t very good in school and struggled all through high school. Blake was going from odd job to odd job when he met Freya Clarke and was immediately smitten. He would eventually marry her and in SY 76 they would have a daughter.
However, things didn’t exactly work out too well and Blake continued to struggle to hold a job. By SY 79 his marriage had fallen apart and he went to live with Sebastian for a time.
Eventually, Blake was able to get a job working as a dockworker and later joined the dockworker’s guild union. That gave him the stability he needed and as his life improved Sebastian’s had seemed to stop. Blake stopped communicating with Sebastian after that and hadn’t heard from him for at least three years by around SY 88.
