Edward was born in SY 30 as the youngest son to Henry and Sophia Brandt. His parents were among the first to arrive to the station when it first came online. He has a brother named Joshua and a sister named Melody whom he grew up with.
Edward never went to Stelvik University instead he began a career on freighters that operated in the system. This is where he met his wife Sarah, though they never had any children together. He slowly worked his way up through the different jobs.
It was in SY 63 when he was offered a position with Eclipse Logistics to captain one of their freighters. He accepted the job after it was offered to him. And, Edward has captained the same ship for the same company ever since.
In SY 87 his wife Sarah finally passed away after fighting cancer for over two years. His greatest regret was never having children, however, Edward hardly lets that bother him. He enjoys his work and is looking forward to retirement soon.
