Stelvik Station in the Uvel System is considered an independent station and planetary system. Meaning that it does not fall under the jurisdiction of any major power in Human space.
There are currently five political parties in operation on Stelvik Station. Some are more influential than others, and at any one time at least one political party is not in power actively within the government.
Most political parties on the station fall close to the center with some being more left leaning and others being more right leaning. Given the difficulty it is to gain and maintain power none of the parties have far right or far left beliefs.
Currently the parties in power are: Centrist Movement Party (The Primarch and one Councilor), Uvel Free League Party (One Councilor), Civic Vanguard Party (One Councilor).
