Dorian Reade was born on May 12, SY 48 in London as the only child to Ava and Isaiah Reade. His parents never really wanted children and so after his birth they made efforts to make certain that they never had another child. It’s not to say that Ava and Isaiah weren’t loving parents they simply had no desire to have any. Just before he turned thirteen years old Dorian’s parents moved them to Stelvik Station.
Dorian met Melissa shortly thereafter and immediately found that he had a crush on her. It took him years before he had finally convinced her to go out on a date with him and before he knew it, they were married. After completing High School Dorian went on to become a writer and journalist.
In SY 75 his son Trevor was born. He continued to publish articles, wrote some books, and created two holographic programs all while continuing his career. His second son Dillon was born in SY 78.
In SY 85 Dorian had written for a long time, and there was a failing bar on the station. After some convincing he bought it with whatever credits his wife Melissa and him could scrounge up and they opened it. It took three years to get the place back into a profitable margin, but by SY 88 business was good.
