Katelynn was born in the year 2376 to Sam and Allyson Bancroft on Earth. Once Katelynn had turned two years old both her and her mother joined her father Sam on board the USS Eisenhower. Having lived aboard starships for as long as she can remember Katelynn has known nothing else.
The Eisenhower was somewhat cramped and Katelynn was perhaps one of the only children on board. She was unable to make friends during the early part of her life and relied on communication with friends from the subspace schooling she did since the Eisenhower didn’t have schooling facilities. Some of her social skills were somewhat lacking, but she was able to make the best of it. By the time she was twelve her father had been reassigned to Stelvik Station.
