Allyson Boothe was born in 2360 as the oldest child, born one year before her brother Elliot, in Alexandria, Egypt. In 2369, during her sophomore year at Yale University, Allyson met Sam Bancroft while touring Starfleet Academy and during a university exchange program. Their relationship grew until they became involved and eventually married.
In 2376, while serving as one of the many Starfleet civilian scientists at Starfleet Academy, Allyson Bancroft gave birth to Katelynn. Two years later Allyson was able to get a position aboard the USS Eisenhower to serve as one of the civilian scientists on board. The living space was quite cramped and uncomfortable which led to her rethinking the decision many times.
After ten years on board and many trips back to Earth, her husband Sam was able to get reassigned to a station. She put her name in for the open Anthropologist position on board and was selected. In 2388 Allyson, along with her daughter, moved to Stelvik Station.
