Canon Guidelines
- This Simm only considers the events of ST: DS9, ST: Original Series, ST: TNG, ST: ENT, and ST: VOY to be canonical
- Any events set in the J.J. Abrams universe or the Kurtzman universe are not considered canon
- This includes the destruction of Mars, Romulus, and Remus.
- This also includes any events from PIC, Lower Decks, DIS, Starfleet Academy, etc.
- The events of the books are also not considered canon. Anything beyond the original ST shows from the 60’s, 80’s, and 90’s to early 00’s are considered as expanded universe material and this simm does not follow what happens in them.
Joining & Acceptance
- Stelvik Station only accepts new writers to the group on a case-by-case basis. Applications are always welcome, however, the Commanding Officer reserves the right to reject any applicant for any reason.
- The application form, provided on a different page, should be filled out in full. Proper grammar and spelling are not a requirement, however, be as close to accurate as possible. English as a second language is taken into consideration.
- The Commanding Officer’s decision is final. If the applicant is rejected a reason and explanation will be provided. Do not harass the Command Team if the application is denied.
Simm Rating
- This is a 15+ Age Rated Simm
- Language – 2
- Swearing with limitations is permitted
- Limitations – Heavy swearing, overly sexual commentary
- Sexual Content – 2
- Sexual Content is okay, fade to black situations is okay with limitations
- Limitations – Explicit sexual is okay to some degree. Straight up smut is not okay.
- Violence – 1
- Mild Violence is permitted with limitations
- Limitations – Extreme violence and explicit violence
Activity
- Activity is considered for members who are actively participating in collaborative posts. There are no monthly post minimums, just be active with writing the collaborative posts
- LOA’s – Leave of Absence is less than 14 Days of absence from the simm. Regular updates are required when able.
- eLOA’s – Extended Leave of Absence is greater than 14 days but less than 60 days. Regular updates are required when able.
Character Guidelines
- Characters are not to be in any way canon, or be related to a canon character. They must fall in line with canon Trek and may not come from other genre’s or series’ (i.e. Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.)
- Members and potential members are asked to make their character unique with flaws, strengths, and weaknesses. While avoiding Mary Sue and Rambo like characters.
Rules of Behavior
- This simm and members do not tolerate harassment, bullying, trolling, etc. of any kind. If it happens OOC the member will be investigated and removed.
- Potential members who have a past history of these things will automatically not be accepted.
- Potential members who have a bad history with the Commanding Officer are also automatically not accepted. There is no public list of people who are not welcome, however, if one of them should apply they will be told if they appear on the private list of banned.
