Ascension Global was established on Mars in BSY 22. Originally the company had started as a small time holographic program producer. Within five years Ascension Global had greatly increased their influence and power, growing to all new heights in the industry. Ascension Global eventually became a publicly traded corporation and had begun to dominate most forms of media and entertainment.
Over the first several years of growth and development, Ascension Global slowly became disillusioned with the rules and regulations of the Federation. Eventually Ascension Global leadership began to consider their future endeavors. Then by BSY 15 they’d heard about Stelvik Station and the plans there. Ascension Global backed it fully. In SY 9 Ascension was able to fully incorporate itself into the station and dominate the airwaves.
Unlike some other corporations Ascension Global is not a family owned or operated business. As the company has grown so too has the chief executives it has hired to run the business. By SY 87 a new Chief Executive had been selected, and Norman Grayson took the helm of the company.
