V’Laas was born in 2341 on Vulcan. When she was five years old she would meet Taven, though they would be separated at some point in their lives for a while. She went on to become a scientist aboard the Vulcan ship Onnar all the way until she became mated with Taven after reuniting with him.
In 2376, shortly after the Dominion War, she joined her husband on Vulcan where he went to live following the war. They had their daughter T’Vral while living there. She remained on Vulcan for extensive study with her husband.
In 2383 she first visited what would become Stelvik Station and the Uvel System to help with a mineral survey that was still incomplete. That was when she really began pushing her husband to go back into Starfleet. By 2388 she’d convinced him, and they returned to Stelvik Station. She opened a Vulcan restaurant named Vulcan Cuisine that year.
