Celeste Moneaux was born in 2366 in the city of Marseille, France as the second of twin girls. Her sister was born fifteen seconds after her. Her parents Alexandre and Gabrielle Moneaux lived their entire lives in the city and still do to this day. Unlike her parents though, Amélie had other ambitions and they were in the stars.
Almost immediately after she turned seventeen years old she had applied to Starfleet Academy and was accepted into the class. That same year her sister, who had gone everywhere with her and gotten into trouble with her, was also accepted. Unlike her sister though Celeste chose to go into the field of science.
After four years at the Academy, along with her sister Amélie, she graduated. She had wanted to be assigned to a starship, but instead her first posting would be aboard Stelvik Station as one of the Science Officers on board.
